Trend: Asymmetrical Tops and Dresses

There is no denying that the off the shoulder trend has taken over your (or your best friend’s) wardrobe in the past year. Whether you are for it, against, dabbled or over it…we can all agree, we have all been curious to what will be the update to a style we have all grown quite accustom to seeing on the reg.

Well ladies, we are finally starting to see a reinterpretation to off the shoulder mania. Asymmetrical Tops and Dresses, or a Peek-A-Boo Shoulder, are beginning to pop onto the market and we couldn’t be more excited. While it isn’t too far of a deviation from what we are used to seeing – we appreciate the thought and detail that goes into these strategically cut articles of clothing. The asymmetrical top can be simple with only a single shoulder being exposed, to complicated with layers of additional fabric arranged as a ruffle. We love that the asymmetrical trend can be worn as a casual, fun top that’s perfect for a bachelorette party or be applied to a formal dress that a bride might choose for her rehearsal dinner. It lends itself to being an interesting way to update your ensemble for a multitude of occasions.

Will you be adopting this new cold shoulder trend with open arms?
